Love Parties Hidden Picnic at Tree House and Tesoro, Taj Dubai:

With an enormous terrace, luscious urban-jungle greenery and spectacular views of the Burj Khalifa, Love Parties has launched the Hidden Picnic to make your Friday afternoon a little more eventful. Guests will be welcomed with a picnic hamper, overflowing with starters such as crudités and crisps with dips, burrata, Prawn Marie Rose, assorted sandwiches and salads. Diners then choose one main from the live BBQ grill, including double-cooked chicken halves with rosemary and garlic oil, marinated salmon with dill, mustard and watercress or roast beef with horseradish cream. It wouldn’t be a picnic without a plethora of light, sweet and tasty desserts such as Pimm’s lemon and mint jelly, elderflower vanilla Victoria sponge, Eton mess jars, rich and gooey chocolate brownie bites with burnt marshmallow. Fridays from 1pm to 4pm. The homegrown cafe concept has launched a new afternoon tea that takes traditional tea rituals to sophisticated new heights. Designed to feel like a storybook, guests will be immersed in a fairytale-like experience and live through the cafe’s 2D illustrations and artistic drawings with 3D elements woven throughout. Much like the menu itself, the afternoon tea sessions include international delicacies revisited with an Oriental touch to suit every taste. Daily, from 1pm to 5pm. AED 300 for two people.
