The American pop band will perform in Abu Dhabi this May.
Marshmello, Bruno Mars, The Killers, La Scala Academy Orchestra – regardless of the musical genre in question, some of the biggest names have performed live at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, and Maroon 5 will soon be added to the mix. The legendary pop band will make its long-awaited return to the UAE, debuting in the capital on 6 May, courtesy of Live Nation ME and the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi.
Led by Adam Levine, Maroon 5 will be treating fans to an unmissable live show, performing hits like US Diamond breakout single “Girls Like You”, platinum-selling “Beautiful Mistakes”, and more. The Los Angeles-based band not only boasts multiple Grammy Awards, but it has also become one of the most successful groups on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, clocking 32 records and 15 Top 10 singles. With over 750 concerts in more than 30 countries worldwide behind it, Maroon 5 now reaches over 45 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
The upcoming concert will be a part of the band’s first-ever regional tour in the Middle East, with shows lined up in Cairo on 3 May and Tel Aviv on 9 May. Incidentally, it will also mark the country’s first major event to be hosted at full capacity, illustrating the gradual return of activities and events taking place at full capacity as Covid-19 cases continue to drop.
