Hermès Maison Bond Street showcases craftsmanship and creativity.

Hermès has opened a flagship in London: Hermès Maison Bond Street. Located on New Bond Street, the spectacular space celebrates the French fashion house, its craftsmanship and creativity.

Spanning six interconnected buildings, five floors and 55 rooms, Hermès Maison Bond Street is Hermès’ largest store in the United Kingdom. Visitors enter through the seven-metre-high entrance and are greeted by a world of artistry. The central atrium is crowned by a striking glass roof created by Foster + Partners, which fills the space with light.

Every corner offers something to discover. The spaces include rooms in yellow tones inspired by sunrises and sunsets, while the red bathrooms add a touch of personality. More than 500 artworks are displayed throughout the building. The pieces have been curated by Hermès’ Artistic Director, Pierre-Alexis Dumas. Look out for the horse sculpture by British artist Jessica Wetherly.

Hermès Maison Bond Street showcases all 16 Hermès métiers under one roof, from leather goods and fashion to homeware, watches and equestrian collections. Guests can request a personalised service, and dedicated repair workshops highlight the house’s enduring commitment to longevity.

On the first floor are the leather goods collections. On the second floor, there are women’s shoes and menswear. Guests can also relax with tea or coffee in one of the lounges. On the third floor, artisans carry out repairs. On the fourth floor, there is a private space for the Émile Hermès Collection. Plus, there is also a rooftop lounge leading to a garden.

Founded in Paris in 1837 by Thierry Hermès, Hermès began as a harness workshop serving Europe’s carriage trade. Its reputation was built on leather craftsmanship, precision and an unwavering commitment to quality, values that carried the house into a new era as travel changed. Under later generations of the Hermès family, the maison expanded into saddlery, bags, silk scarves, ready-to-wear, jewellery, watches, fragrance and homeware, while iconic creations such as the Kelly and Birkin bags became symbols of discreet luxury. Nearly two centuries later, Hermès continues to balance heritage with innovation.
