Keira Knightley stars in The Lives of Others at the Adelphi Theatre in London.
British actress Keira Knightley has made her mark in movies, and will now star on stage in The Lives of Others. Running from 29 October 2026 to 7 January 2027, it will take place at the Adelphi Theatre in London.
Keira is best known for her work in Hollywood productions. She rose to fame with roles in Bend It Like Beckham and as Elizabeth Swann in the Pirates of the Caribbean series. She is acclaimed for her performances in period dramas, including Pride and Prejudice, Atonement and The Imitation Game. She has earned multiple award nominations, from the Academy Awards to the BAFTA Awards. Over the years, she has appeared in the West End in The Misanthrope (2009) and The Children’s Hour (2011).
Now, Keira returns to the West End after nearly 15 years. The Lives of Others also stars Stephen Dillane and Luke Thompson. The production unfolds in East Germany in 1984, where a writer and his actress partner find their lives upended after coming under state surveillance. The new production is adapted and directed by acclaimed playwright Robert Icke.
