The new Hassan Hajjaj exhibition in London includes Central Cee and Joy Crookes.
The Moroccan-British artist Hassan Hajjaj is bringing My London Rockstars, End to Estates to Sotheby’s Story Café. Running from 13 July to 7 August 2026, it will transform the café in Mayfair into one of the artist’s signature tea salons and celebrate the people shaping the capital.
Hassan lives and works between London and Marrakesh. He is known for blending North African street culture with pop art and fashion. His previous work includes Kesh Angels, a photograph of five veiled women sitting on motorbikes in Marrakesh. He also photographed American singer Billie Eilish for the cover of American Vogue.

Now, Hassan’s latest exhibition is an instalment of the My Rockstars series, which has travelled the world and been shown in AlUla, Marrakesh, Miami and Paris. This edition shines a spotlight on a new generation of London creatives. The portraits include Central Cee, Clint419, Joy Crookes, Slawn, the Motherlan crew and Walid Labri. Through the portraits, Hajjaj pays tribute to the diversity of the capital. He said: “I am so proud to introduce this new creative energy in London, which mirrors the spirit and excitement of my early days in the city.”

Visitors can expect more than an exhibition. The artist will reimagine the entire café as an immersive installation, bringing together art, design and community. If you’re wondering what to expect, FACT caught the exhibition when it was on in AlUla Old Town, Saudi Arabia. The portraits were framed by stacks of soda cans and set against colourful backdrops. The bold and vibrant imagery captured the essence of local life and community identity in AlUla, and featured portraits of local residents and even superstar singer Alicia Keys.
