London’s restaurant scene is gearing up for another Italian arrival. Carmelina’s, a new all-day dining concept from hospitality trio Daniele Pampagnin, Jake Mason and Carmela Pia, will open at The Webster Covent Garden on Thursday, 1 October 2026.
Located beside Lincoln’s Inn Fields in London’s West End, Carmelina’s will form part of the food and beverage offering at The Webster Covent Garden. The new lifestyle hotel features 167 rooms and is accepting reservations for stays from October 2026.
The ground-floor restaurant will accommodate around 100 diners, with an open kitchen, counter seating and a dedicated wine bar. Architecture and interiors studio Red Deer, also responsible for The Webster’s wider transformation, has designed the space with black-and-white tiled floors, natural materials, timber details and vintage artwork.
Food will be led by co-founder Daniele Pampagnin, whose previous experience includes Nobu and Soho House, alongside Head Chef Simone Serafini. The menu will draw inspiration from across Italy, focusing on handmade pasta, seasonal ingredients and seafood.
The opening menu includes Sicilian red prawns and porchetta with friarielli. Breakfast will also play an important role, with options including eggs Royale, focaccia scrambled eggs and diavola shakshuka. The restaurant will be supported by a classic cocktail selection and a carefully curated wine list.
The experience will continue upstairs at Carmelina’s Al Banco, an all-day café and bar inspired by Milan’s neighbourhood bars. With a covered terrace, the venue will move from breakfast and coffee in the morning to aperitivo and drinks as the day progresses.
Downstairs, Carla’s List will offer a more intimate late-night experience. Led by Bar Manager Peppe Corallo, the 60-capacity cocktail bar will combine drinks with live entertainment and events, while also being available for private celebrations. Hotel guests will also be able to order Carmelina’s dishes through room service and bottled cocktails from Carla’s List.
Jake Mason said: “It’s about that Italian way of life, where you come in for one thing and somehow you’re still there six hours later. A coffee becomes lunch, lunch rolls into aperitivo. It’s generous food, warm service and real hospitality. The kind of place you never feel in a hurry to leave.”
With breakfast, handmade pasta, aperitivo and late-night cocktails under one roof, Carmelina’s is positioning itself as a place designed for lingering rather than simply stopping by.
