London is home to restaurants from around the world, from beloved homegrown brands to celebrity-chef ventures. Now, the city is set to welcome Cordelia’s Mayfair, a new dining destination on Clarges Street. FACT first spotted a sign on the famous street announcing that the restaurant will open, and now more details have emerged. Opening on 26 August 2026, here is what to expect.
The poster we first spotted of Cordelia’s Mayfair on the street gave a striking first impression: a steak sizzling over a blazing grill, with flames in vibrant shades of yellow, orange, and red dancing against a black background. The imagery hints at a dramatic yet atmospheric interior, setting the stage for a restaurant that balances elegance with energy.

Located on the former site of L’atelier Robuchon, the new restaurant has announced that it will open this summer. Cordelia’s Mayfair logo is a stylised C, designed like a regal crest, evoking sophistication and heritage – and would not look out of place on a royal emblem. The venue will be an all-day dining restaurant, promising a menu centred around one thing: steaks, glorious steaks.
Head Chef Jordi Sebastianelli, who previously worked at Le Petit Beefbar, will be leading the kitchen. The full food and drinks menu has not yet been unveiled, but we do have some details. Alongside expertly cooked cuts, the focus will be on British cuts that have been aged in-house. There will also be Galician beef, Finnish Sashi and Italian Parmesan-fed beef. The drinks menu will feature inventive cocktails and a range of carefully curated accompaniments, all aimed at creating a memorable dining experience. Plus, there will be live music on the weekends.
When Cordelia’s Mayfair opens, it will join a prestigious line-up of neighbours on Clarges Street. If you can’t wait, you can check out other restaurants in the area. The street is home to acclaimed restaurants ranging from the Japanese steakhouse Aragawa to the casual seafood favourite Burger & Lobster. On Albemarle Street, there are also FACT Dining Award London-winning venues, including Gymkhana and Il Gattopardo. Plus, it boasts the restaurants Bar des Prés, Charlie’s, and Isabel.
