Since opening in 1999, Fabric has become one of London’s most influential nightclubs. Known for its programming, powerful sound system and dedicated clubbing community, it remains one of the capital’s defining nightlife destinations.

Shangri-La The Shard things to do in London

Now, Fabric is taking the party to The View From The Shard. Nightclubs are usually hidden away in dark basements, but Fabric is turning that idea on its head. Swapping its home beneath the streets of Farringdon for spectacular panoramic views, London’s tallest building will become a dancefloor. The club will host a series of sunset sessions on the open-air viewing platform, and bring its exciting energy to one of the city’s most iconic landmarks.

Guests will enjoy live music 310 metres above the ground, and five events will take place throughout 2026. Each date will feature a different DJ and musical style, creating an immersive experience enhanced by state-of-the-art lighting and sound from a bespoke Sennheiser system. On 21 August, German techno pioneer Sven Väth will perform a sunset set on the open-air viewing platform before returning to Fabric later that evening to headline at the club’s original home. Events will also take place on 12 September, 25 September, 5 November and 27 December.
