Sam Smith will play London in September 2026.
British singing sensation Sam Smith has announced a series of intimate dates as part of his To Be Free residencies. Sam will play Manchester’s Albert Hall on 3 and 4 September 2026, and head to the London Coliseum for eight nights from 8 to 19 September 2026. If you’d like to get hold of tickets, here’s what you need to know.
A multi-award-winning British singer-songwriter, Sam was born in Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom. He rose to global fame with his debut album In the Lonely Hour. Over his career, he has become known for his powerful vocals, emotional songwriting and chart-topping hits spanning pop, soul and ballads. His biggest hits include “Dancing With a Stranger,” “I’m Not the Only One,” “Lay Me Down,” “Latch,” ‘La La La,” ‘Like I Can,” “Stay With Me,” “Too Good at Goodbyes” and “Unholy.”
The Grammy, BRIT, Golden Globe and Oscar-winning artist will open the run with two special nights in Manchester. These UK dates follow a run of international residencies, including four shows at Mexico City’s Auditorio Nacional next month, and a series of intimate performances in New York at Brooklyn’s Warsaw last year, before continuing on to San Francisco. Each stop has formed part of the To Be Free project.
Sam has also announced his fifth studio album Hazel Eyes, and his new single “My Guy.” The record includes the previously released tracks “Love Is a Stillness” and “To Be Free,” and is set for release via Capitol Records on 21 August 2026.
