Beauty lovers, we have some exciting news. The beauty brand Sephora has opened its first boutique in the United Kingdom, and it’s located in London. Sitting on Carnaby Street, this marks the brand’s sixteenth store, and here’s what to expect.
In 1969, Sephora opened in Limoges, France. The brand made a name for itself in France for its perfumes before expanding into the beauty sector. In 1998, it opened in the United States, and in 2022, it opened in the United Kingdom. Now, the latest store has been opened in London by the Managing Director, Sarah Boyd.
The Sephora store in Carnaby Street spans 2,691 square feet and brings together the brand’s much-loved products. The store offers personalised services, expert beauty advisors and more. The collection includes a carefully curated selection of almost 500 beauty brands, from cult favourites to viral sensations.
Only At Sephora brands include rhode, Haus Labs, Makeup By Mario, Merit Beauty, Yepoda and Tower 28. Plus, the store introduces personalised beauty experiences. The Beauty Scan analyses skin oil and hydration levels, as well as helping with foundation shade matching.
On 30 July 2026, a second boutique in London will open at Old Spitalfields Market, spanning 2,045 square feet. Sephora’s recent expansions include Belfast’s Victoria Square, Bristol’s Cabot Circus and Edinburgh’s St James.
