The annual Thai Festival: Thailand Showcase is hosted in a new location this year, Potters Fields Park. The location is beside the historic and scenic Tower Bridge. The festival promises to bring an immersive experience bringing the best of Thailand to the capital.
Thai Festival comes as part of a global celebration taking place in 43 cities worldwide under the theme of Creative Life and Creative Heartbeat. The theme spotlights the people, ideas and culture that make Thailand special, showing how creativity is used in everyday life across Thai food, arts, craftsmanship, wellness, tourism and more.
The festival will host several excellent food vendors representing an outstanding line-up of authentic Thai restaurants, including Patara, The Great Thai, Slurp Thai, Siam Niyom, Monkey and Me, Kin+Deum and Thai Square. These well-loved restaurants will champion Thai cuisine with dishes including Tom Yum Noodles, Prawn Summer rolls, Thai curries and more. Dessert dishes will feature traditional sweets as well as refreshing ice creams.
Additionally, the festival will run a series of Thai wellness and aromatic workshops, Muay Thai experiences, a special Chud Thai exhibition with digital interactive experiences, Thai dance performances, fashion shows and live demonstrations, and a vibrant marketplace showcasing Thai fashion, jewellery, and handcrafted goods from talented Thai designers.
