Studio Coffee has been created by the award-winning bartender, Rich Woods.

London is home to creative coffee shops, and now it has welcomed a coffee-meets-cocktail bar with a musical twist. Studio Coffee has opened in Arcade on Bedford Street in Covent Garden, and offers vinyl records alongside your espresso.

Created by Rich Woods (who is known as The Cocktail Guy on Instagram), Studio Coffee in London is a sleek spot. The design is built around a passion for coffee and is designed as a place for people to pause and be present. The venue oozes cool and boasts a minimalist Mad Men look, with dark wood, red seats and dim lighting. Drawing inspiration from the rhythm of the city, it offers a carefully curated selection of records – we spotted Sade, after all.

Guests can pick up freshly baked pastries, from croissants to pain au chocolat. The drinks list spans hot and cold offerings. The hot drinks include an Americano, Espresso, Flat White, Hot Chocolate, Latte, Long Black, Mocha and more. The cocktails include an Espresso Martini, Orange Negroni, White Russian and more.

Rich wears a range of hats in the hospitality industry. He has worked as a bartender, owner and operator, and is now rolling up his sleeves with his latest concept. If you’d like to recreate the magic of the drinks at home, check out his Instagram. He shares tips on how to up your garnish game, make parsley oil and create skeleton leaves.

Studio Coffee in London is designed for those morning coffees and late-night cocktails – it opens bright and early at 7.30am and closes late at 11pm on weekdays. Check in with FACT for the best things to do in London.
