It’s time to enjoy British food. The team behind Faber in Hammersmith and The Somers Town Coffee House in King’s Cross are expanding. Now, they will celebrate their 20th anniversary and open The Tallyman in Canary Wharf.
Set to open in September 2026, The Tallyman in Canary Wharf promises to be a proper East End pub. The venue will offer plenty of personality and create a warm, welcoming space. Guests can enjoy British hospitality, food and drinks. The menus are still under wraps, but we do know that there will be pub-inspired options. The menu will celebrate British ingredients through a sustainable approach. Expect fish and chips, kebabs, pies and shellfish.
Co-founder, Anthony Pender, said: “As we approach our 20th anniversary, we’re so excited to open the doors to our new venture. Canary Wharf is transforming into a mixed-use and residential neighbourhood, and we felt it deserved a proper community pub at its heart as the area continues to grow and thrive.
“The name The Tallyman comes from a place of trust and integrity, and that spirit runs through everything we’re creating here – an authentic East End pub inspired by the dockland history, with the warmth, honesty and character you’d expect from great pub hospitality– not just a space for a drink, but a place for all to feel a part of.”
If you can’t wait, then head to one of the sister venues. The FACT Dining Award London 2026 has nominated Faber for best seafood restaurant. The Somers Town Coffee House is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and prides itself on using sustainable British ingredients.
