Tickets packaged with coach travel will go on sale at 6pm BST on Thursday, 1 October 2026, followed by general admission tickets at 9am BST on Sunday, 4 October 2026. As anyone who has attempted to secure Glastonbury tickets before will know, competition is fierce, so having your registration details ready is essential.
Before joining the online queue, festivalgoers need to register. Registration is free and must be completed by 5pm BST on Friday, 25 September 2026. Existing registrations remain valid, although Glastonbury recommends checking your details and updating your photograph if it no longer looks like you. Anyone aged 13 or over when the festival begins must have their own registration.
Prices have been increased considerably. General admission tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2027 cost £408, including a £5 booking fee, plus postage and packing. It is the first time tickets have crossed the £400 mark and represents a £29.50 rise from the 2025 festival.
The ticket includes admission to the festival, more than 4,000 performances across more than 100 stages and five nights of camping. Those looking for alternative accommodation, including pre-erected tents or campervan options, will need to pay separately.
As for who will be performing, the Glastonbury Festival 2027 line-up has not yet been announced. Festival organiser Emily Eavis has, however, revealed that all three main headliners have already been secured. Madonna has been ruled out, despite previous speculation surrounding an appearance on the Pyramid Stage. Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, Fontaines D.C. and Stevie Wonder are among the other names currently being linked with the festival, although none has been confirmed.
The festival last took place in 2025, when The 1975, Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts, and Olivia Rodrigo topped the bill. The wider programme included Charli XCX, RAYE, Busta Rhymes and Alanis Morissette, alongside surprise appearances from Pulp, Lorde, Lewis Capaldi and Haim.
Glastonbury traces its history back to 1970 and has since grown into one of the world’s most famous music festivals. Across more than five decades, its stages have welcomed everyone from David Bowie and Paul McCartney to Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Billie Eilish and Elton John.
