The JAŸ-Z30 pop-up arrives at Camden Market as the hip-hop icon prepares to celebrate three decades of music with two huge London concerts.
Jay-Z is bringing his 30th anniversary celebrations to London before he even steps onto the stage. Roc Nation has announced a dedicated JAŸ-Z30 pop-up at UMusic Shop Camden, opening on Thursday 27 August ahead of the rapper’s two concerts at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Running from 27 August to 2 September 2026, the temporary space will take over Unit 835 at The Stables Market on Chalk Farm Road. Open daily from 11am to 7pm, the pop-up will offer limited-edition merchandise created for the London anniversary celebrations, alongside Armand de Brignac and The Book of HOV: A Tribute to JAY-Z by Assouline. London DJs, including DJ Target, DJ Manny Norté, DJ Semtex and DJ Esi, will play selected sets during the residency.
The activation arrives ahead of Jay-Z’s concerts at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Friday 4 September and Saturday 5 September, making London his only UK stop of 2026. The concerts follow his three sold-out nights at Yankee Stadium, which broke the venue’s concert attendance records and featured appearances from Beyoncé, Rihanna, Eminem, Alicia Keys, Nas, Usher and Pharrell Williams.
Born Shawn Carter in Brooklyn, the rapper released his debut album, Reasonable Doubt, in 1996 and has spent the last three decades reshaping hip-hop. Tracks including “Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem)”, “Big Pimpin’”, “Izzo (H.O.V.A.)”, “99 Problems”, “Dirt Off Your Shoulder”, “Empire State of Mind”, “Run This Town” and Linkin Park collaboration “Numb/Encore” have become defining moments in his career.
His influence has also been recognised beyond the charts. Jay-Z entered the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2021, while Reasonable Doubt joined the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2025. He has won 25 Grammy Awards across his career and, in 2023, Billboard and Vibe placed him at number one on their list of the 50 Greatest Rappers of All Time.
The Jay-Z London pop-up in Camden also reflects the increasingly elaborate way major artists are extending London concerts beyond the stadium. Earlier this summer, Harry Styles opened his Together, Together pop-up at Borough Yards alongside his Wembley Stadium residency, offering exclusive merchandise and fan activations. Bruno Mars followed with a Hello Kitty collaboration at The Vinyl Factory in Soho during his Wembley run, while Ms. Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean hosted a merchandise pop-up and signing at 180 Studios ahead of their 30th anniversary celebration of The Fugees’ The Score.
These temporary spaces are becoming an extension of the live experience, giving fans somewhere to gather while creating collectible products tied to a particular city and moment. For Jay-Z, whose forthcoming concerts are built around three decades of cultural influence, Camden feels like a fitting place to continue that trend.
