The London Podcast Festival is returning to the capital. Running from 3 to 13 September, it will take place in Kings Place, London. Now in its 11th year, this year’s edition will see some of the world’s biggest podcasters come together for a huge celebration of comedy, film, audio drama, and more.
In recent years, the art of podcasting has taken the world by storm. Starting as simply audio-format, podcasts have transformed into impressive shows, both live and pre-recorded. This September, the London Podcast Festival returns to give fans the opportunity to celebrate the format, and they will have the chance to see some of the world’s biggest podcasters.
The London Podcast Festival will be hosted at Kings Place, often named ‘London’s home of live podcasting’. Across 11 days, the venue will see a stacked programme of events, podcasting, and activations. The festival has been curated by Kings Place’s Head of Artistic Planning Rebecca Millican with the aim of platforming podcasting’s ability to entertain, inspire and bring people together.
Regardless of what podcasts you listen to, there’s sure to be something to attract you to the festival. Topics discussed span comedy, gardening, current affairs, wrestling, film, music, disability and deaf-led storytelling, and audio drama. This year’s live shows and podcasts include Wrong Turns with Jameela Jamil, The Empire Film Podcast, Life After Prison, No Such Thing As A Fish, and Drop Us A Line, with their first-ever live podcast of their audience feedback show.
