The Marylebone members’ club has unveiled a pub designed by Russell Sage, with beer from Lakedown Brewing Co.
Home House has opened Cedric’s, a British pub within its Georgian townhouses on Portman Square. The Marylebone private members’ club describes the venue as London’s first pub inside a private members’ club, offering members a new setting for casual dining and drinks.
British interior designer Russell Sage is behind the space. His approach takes cues from a traditional local pub while reflecting Home House’s playful character, setting the scene for a less formal meal or a catch-up over drinks.
On the menu, pub staples include Butchers Cumberland Sausages, Monkfish Scampi and Cedric’s Smashed Burger. Dessert options range from Chelsea Bun Bread & Butter Pudding to Guinness & Chocolate Cake, while Cedric’s Irish Coffee offers another way to round off a meal.
Beer comes courtesy of Lakedown Brewing Co., which is Home House’s exclusive beer partner until January 2028. The agreement marks the independent brewery’s first partnership in the private members’ club sector.
Lakedown operates from a family farm in Burwash, East Sussex. Lakedown Brewing Co. Its range spans lagers, pale ales, IPAs and traditional British beer styles, brewed using spring water sourced from the estate.
