New York, New York, is buzzing through Mayfair, as Dante heads from Greenwich Village to Claridge’s. Founded in 1915, the celebrated bar and restaurant returns with a residency at the five-star hotel. Launching in June 2026, what was previously a pop-up will now become a permanent fixture.
Led by husband-and-wife duo Linden Pride and Nathalie Hudson, Dante first opened as Caffe Dante in 1915 before being reimagined in 2015. Since then, it has earned international recognition for its fresh and contemporary interpretation of the classic aperitivo tradition. If you’d like a sip of that Manhattan spirit, you can enjoy award-winning cocktails, vibrant aperitivo culture, and a menu of seasonal dishes.

The exact dates and full food and drinks menu have not yet been confirmed. However, if last year’s pop-up is anything to go by, guests can look forward to a daily Aperitivo Hour featuring some of Dante’s most beloved signatures, including the famously fluffy orange juice Garibaldi, the Negroni Bianco, the Dante Martini, and even a decadent Chocolate Negroni fountain.
Thomas Kochs, Managing Director of Claridge’s, said: “We have loved seeing the energy the team at Dante have brought to Claridge’s, and bringing the magic of Manhattan to Mayfair has truly resonated with Londoners. The goal is to make this restaurant the living room of Mayfair, a relaxed spot with great food, wonderful people and, of course, a buzzing atmosphere thanks to Dante’s signature Aperitivo Hour and soulful live music.”

Linden Pride, Co-founder of Dante, added: “We are so proud to call Claridge’s, and London, our new home. At Dante Mayfair, we will amp up the volume on our New York roots across design, menu, and music, aiming to bring an impish sense of fun to Davies Street. That sense of a neighbourhood that Dante’s created for decades in New York? Mayfair’s about to feel it!”
