Jagged Edge, B2K, SWV and Mario will unite for a hit-filled celebration of classic R&B this December.

We may be in the midst of a heatwave, but winter is coming. The RnB Winter Ball will return to London on Sunday, 13 December 2026, bringing a formidable line-up of R&B favourites to The O2. With Jagged Edge, B2K, SWV and Mario appearing on the same bill, the arena show will move between 1990s slow jams, early 2000s club tracks and generation-defining love songs.

The annual event has established itself as a seasonal fixture for fans who prefer harmonies, heartbreak and dancefloor nostalgia to traditional Christmas concerts. This year’s London date forms part of a wider arena tour and will feature full performances from all four acts, supported by immersive visuals and a setlist built around some of R&B’s most recognisable records.

Jagged Edge

Formed in Atlanta and introduced through Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def label, Jagged Edge helped restore vocal groups to the centre of late 1990s and early 2000s R&B. The quartet, comprising twin brothers Brian and Brandon Casey alongside Richard Wingo and Kyle Norman, built its reputation on close harmonies and songs that treated romance with unusual sincerity. The double-platinum J.E. Heartbreak became a defining album of its era, while the track “Let’s Get Married” remains a wedding staple. Their London set should draw heavily from “Promise”, “Where The Party At”, “He Can’t Love U” and the soaring “Walked Outta Heaven”.

B2K

Few groups capture the energy of turn-of-the-millennium R&B quite like B2K. Omarion, J-Boog, Lil Fizz and Raz-B became teen idols through sharp choreography, glossy videos and a sound that bridged pop, hip-hop and contemporary soul. Their self-titled debut album reached number two on the Billboard 200, while the track “Bump, Bump, Bump” climbed to number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Although their initial run was brief, the group left a substantial cultural mark through the Scream tours and the film You Got Served. The hits “Girlfriend”, “Uh Huh”, “Gots Ta Be” and “Why I Love You” should prompt a loud response at The O2.

SWV

SWV arrive with one of the richest catalogues in 1990s R&B. Cheryl “Coko” Gamble, Tamara “Taj” George and Leanne “Lelee” Lyons emerged from New York with their 1992 debut, It’s About Time, blending streetwise production with commanding lead vocals and intricate harmonies. The album generated a run of major singles and earned the trio a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. “Weak” became their signature ballad and topped the Billboard Hot 100, while the “Right Here” Human Nature remix remains instantly recognisable. Alongside “I’m So Into You”, “Rain”, “You’re The One” and “Use Your Heart”, their songs continue to shape the vocabulary of modern R&B.

Mario

Mario entered the music industry as a teenager, but his career quickly moved beyond youthful promise. His 2002 debut introduced his clear and agile vocals through “Just A Friend”, before the 2004 album Turning Point established him as a major R&B soloist. Its centrepiece, “Let Me Love You”, reached number one in the United States and earned Grammy nominations for both the song and album. Written with a directness that suits Mario’s understated delivery, it remains one of the defining slow jams of the decade. “How Do I Breathe” and “Crying Out For Me” further strengthened a catalogue that brings a commanding solo counterpoint to the three vocal groups.

A spokesperson for the event said: “The RnB Winter Ball has become a must-attend event for R&B fans across the UK, and this year’s arena tour is set to be our biggest yet. Bringing together Jagged Edge, B2K, SWV and Mario on one stage is a dream line-up that will deliver an unforgettable celebration of R&B music.”

With four acts whose music has soundtracked weddings, club nights and break-ups, the RnB Winter Ball is built around more than simple nostalgia. It is a chance to hear songs that continue to circulate through samples, social media and contemporary playlists, performed by the voices that first made them famous.
