The week-long collaboration with KOTN brings Sudanese fashion, food, music and community to East London.
Sudanese fashion label SN3 Studio has joined forces with Egyptian-born clothing brand KOTN for a week-long residency in Shoreditch, bringing together clothing, culture, food and music under one roof.
Running from 19 to 25 August 2026, the ‘From Khartoum to London’ pop-up takes over KOTN’s Shoreditch store for seven days. The collaboration will showcase a selection of SN3 Studio bestsellers alongside pieces created exclusively for the London residency, giving visitors the chance to discover the brand’s distinctive approach to Sudanese heritage and contemporary design.
Fashion is only part of the programme. Across the week, the space will host a series of events designed to spotlight Sudanese creativity and community. Highlights include a dinner by The Sudanese Kitchen, alongside a live performance and listening session featuring ZENA and Better Listening. The residency will conclude with a closing party on 25 August 2026.
Visitors can also stop by throughout the week for complimentary karkadeh, the traditional hibiscus drink widely enjoyed across Sudan, served by catering company Sicander. Those arriving early have another incentive, with free T-shirts available to the first 10 customers at the pop-up.
SN3 Studio was founded by friends Ahmed Shareef, Abdallah Abbas and Mahdi Jali, with the aim of bringing Sudanese stories, traditions and craftsmanship into a contemporary fashion context. Its collections draw on the country’s history, landscapes and visual culture, with the recent collection Children of the Nile taking inspiration from the River Nile and its role in shaping civilisations across the region.
The label also has ambitions to manufacture its collections fully in Sudan, spanning everything from cotton T-shirts to artisan printing techniques. In doing so, SN3 Studio hopes to support local craft traditions while introducing them to a wider international audience.
KOTN, meanwhile, has built its reputation around elevated everyday clothing and quality natural materials, with roots stretching between Egypt and Canada. The brand has increasingly expanded its presence in London, where it recently launched Beit Kotn in Shoreditch.
Conceived as a private hotel and creative residence, Beit Kotn offers a base for artists, designers, writers and cultural thinkers from across the Middle East and North Africa. Rather than functioning solely as traditional accommodation, the project combines elements of a guesthouse, a creative studio and a communal meeting place.
More than a fashion pop-up, ‘From Khartoum to London’ creates a temporary platform for Sudanese creativity in London, bringing together clothing, conversation, food and music throughout the week.
