Tame Impala fans, mark your calendars. Kevin Parker has announced a new run of UK and European shows for 2027, including two huge concerts at The O2 in London.
Tame Impala will take over the Greenwich arena on Tuesday, 1 June and Wednesday, 2 June 2027. The dates follow a Manchester concert at Co-op Live on Friday, 28 May, giving UK fans another opportunity to see Parker’s psychedelic project live following sold-out shows around the world in 2026. Adding to the appeal, Isle of Wight duo Wet Leg will support Tame Impala at all headline dates on the European run.
Since emerging from Perth, Australia, Tame Impala has grown from an experimental psychedelic project into one of alternative music’s biggest global names. Although Tame Impala performs as a full band on stage, Parker remains the creative force behind the project, writing, recording and producing much of its music.
Across albums including Lonerism, Currents and The Slow Rush, Tame Impala has blurred the boundaries between psychedelic rock, electronic music, pop and indie. Tracks such as “The Less I Know the Better”, “Let It Happen”, “Elephant” and “Borderline” have become some of the project’s most recognisable songs, helping Parker reach audiences far beyond the traditional alternative music scene.
The project’s influence can also be heard across contemporary pop, electronic music and hip-hop. Parker has collaborated with artists including Dua Lipa, Lady Gaga and Travis Scott, while Tame Impala’s music has attracted famous fans ranging from musicians to celebrities such as Justin and Hailey Bieber.
Along the way, Tame Impala has earned four Grammy Award nominations and picked up a BRIT Award, cementing Parker’s position as one of Australia’s most internationally successful contemporary artists.
