The Harry Potter Shop will open in November.

Wands at the ready. The UK’s largest Harry Potter shop is set to open on Oxford Street in London. Launching on 4 November 2026, it will bring a spellbinding mix of magic to one of the world’s busiest shopping destinations.

This marks the second official Harry Potter retail destination in the country, following the shop at King’s Cross Station. The shops also join the collection of Harry Potter experiences owned and operated by Warner Bros in London, including Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter.

Spanning two floors, the Harry Potter flagship store will be more than 21,000 square feet. Drawing inspiration from the shopping street of Diagon Alley, the store promises to be a magical experience for fans of all ages. Highlights will include a huge dragon towering over Gringotts Bank and a full-sized Knight Bus. At the Leaky Cauldron pub, visitors will also be able to enjoy food and Butterbeer.

Harry Potter Film Concert

The arrival of the new Harry Potter Shop on Oxford Street comes at an opportune moment for the Wizarding World. Just months later, Harry Potter will return to screens when HBO’s new television adaptation debuts on Christmas Day 2026. Rather than continuing the film series, the show starts the story again with a new cast and a format designed to explore J.K. Rowling’s seven novels in greater detail. The eight-episode first season, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, should have more room for characters, storylines and elements of Hogwarts life that were condensed or omitted from the 2001 film.

Dominic McLaughlin takes over from Daniel Radcliffe as Harry, alongside Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley. John Lithgow plays Albus Dumbledore, Janet McTeer is Minerva McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu portrays Severus Snape, and Nick Frost becomes Rubeus Hagrid.

Karl Durrant, Warner Bros.’ Senior Vice-President of Worldwide Retail, said: “Following the success of our Harry Potter shops around the globe, opening the Harry Potter Shop in London is a truly special milestone. We’re incredibly proud to bring the magic back to the city where Harry Potter’s story began.

“There’s no better place to create a destination that celebrates the magic, creativity and storytelling that has captivated generations of fans around the world. Step inside and you’ll feel as though you’ve walked straight into Diagon Alley. Every detail has been designed to transport fans into the wizarding world. Whether you’re local to London or visiting from afar, we can’t wait to welcome fans through our doors this November.”

Together, the shop and television series mark the latest expansion of a franchise that already encompasses blockbuster films, video games, studio tours, theme park attractions and retail destinations around the world. In London, the Oxford Street flagship gives that continuing fascination a major new home.
