London Colosseum could be the largest indoor arena in the country.
Exciting plans have been unveiled for a vast new entertainment destination in Stratford’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The London Colosseum could become the country’s largest indoor arena, welcoming up to 25,000 people. So, if you love live music, sports or just about any blockbuster event, this is for you.
Stratford has undergone major transformations, from welcoming the London 2012 Olympics to the new V&A East. Now, it could be home to a whopper venue, The London Colosseum. If approved, it will be larger than The O2 Arena in London and Manchester’s Co-op Live. The ambitious project is being developed by Jericho Estates, Peacock Gym, Torch Sports and architects Chybik + Kristof.

Designed as a world-class venue, the venue would host everything from concerts and live entertainment to sporting events. Proposals suggest it could become a home for basketball competitions, esports tournaments, UFC events and world championship boxing. Plus, the plans also feature a multifunctional tower, which would include a hotel, homes and community spaces, helping to create a lively destination that can be enjoyed all year round.

Alongside the main arena, the site would include two additional 3,000-seat venues as part of the London Colosseum Academy. The wider campus could feature a basketball school, a boxing gym and an esports training centre. The arena’s flexible design would allow it to host a wide range of events while making the most of the space throughout the year.
