Restoration Hardware Opens With Effortless Elegance in Mayfair

History and high-end dining have come together at Restoration Hardware. Located off Savile Row in Mayfair, the new dining, exhibition and retail space is situated in a 400-year-old London landmark. British architectural firm Foster + Partners has designed the new restaurant, and it’s already causing a buzz.  

Restoration Hardware has been reimagined, and combines historic and contemporary features. The project spans multiple rooms and offers a variety of food and drink experiences. The spaces include a restaurant, a wine bar, and a barista bar on the ground floor. On the second floor, there is The Perch wine bar with a roof terrace, and The World of RH Lounge. Plus, there is a Champagne and caviar bar in the basement.

Seafood takes centre stage on the menu: there is a dedicated caviar section, and Mini Lobster and King Crab Rolls topped with caviar. The menu also includes Oysters, Lobster, King Crab Legs, Prawns and The Tower (a seafood tower). Plus, dishes range from Whole Rotisserie Chicken with roast potatoes to Bavette Steak Frites.

Restoration Hardware is similar to RH New York, which is located in the Meatpacking District. The original space, which spans more than 90,000 square feet, includes installations and a rooftop restaurant with views of downtown Manhattan.

The team are also behind RH England at Aynho Park. The original building was designed by the British architect Sir John Soane. Spanning more than 73 acres and 60 rooms, it includes dining and drinking experiences: Conservatory, Loggia and Orangery, and Juicery, Tea Salon and Wine Lounge. Plus, there are historic gardens, designed by the English landscape architect, Capability Brown.
