First look: Asia Asia and The Central, Yas Bay Waterfront

A sneak peek at two of the new F&B concepts from Solutions leisure opening in the capital later this year.

Earlier this year, we reported that Dubai based F&B organisation Solutions Leisure would be partnering with Miral to bring several popular food and beverage concepts to the new Yas Bay Waterfront Development.

The vibrant leisure and entertainment zone situated on Yas Island Abu Dhabi is already home to newly-opened Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island and the Etihad Arena, a state-of-the-art multi-purpose entertainment venue with a capacity for 18,000 guests! Besides numerous retail outlets and leisure facilities, we can expect to see popular Dubai restaurants LSB (Lock, Stock & Barrel) and Asia Asia making their debut in the capital, alongside a new concept, The Central.

The lavish Asia Asia, which you might already know from Pier 7 in Dubai, takes its inspiration from the ancient Spice Route and will be furnished and decorated with cherry blossom and decor from the Far East. We would expect a menu of sumptuous sushi, delightful dim sum and wok-fried favourites, similar to the Dubai location.

Little is currently known about The Central, but judging by these initial renders, we can expect a casual arcade-style experience inspired by Pac Man, Super Mario and everything in between. It looks like air hockey, classic arcades games and a fun and funky dining element are also on the agenda.
