Here’s Where Dubai Harbour Meets the Mediterranean

Bar du Port is now open at the new waterfront development.

A little luxury and a lot of fun – it’s what you want out of a jaunt to the Mediterranean, it’s what you’re guaranteed at Bar du Port. The new bar and brasserie has taken up residence at Dubai Harbour, showcasing French-influenced cuisine and handcrafted cocktails in a setting that personifies understated luxury. Launched by leading hospitality group Addmind, it is one of the first restaurants to open on the luxurious new waterfront development and combines the relaxed charm of the Ligurian Riviera with the glamour and playfulness of the Côte d’Azur and the subtle simplicity of Greek islands.

Bar du Port

Bar du Port exudes an aura of sophistication, its luxe bohemian décor featuring earthy tones that are complemented by raw timber and natural materials. The abundance of statement lighting, meanwhile, adds an instant wow factor. Stepping onto the large outdoor terrace, which boasts both enviable sunset and seaside views, guests can be forgiven for thinking that they have been transported to the shores of an enchanting Mediterranean island.

As for the aforementioned French-influenced cuisine? The menu has been designed by Hadi Saroufim, Executive Chef of Bar du Port, who looked to Mediterranean coastal flavours for inspiration. Culinary highlights include the Escargots (pink garlic, herb butter, tomato confit), Oysters N3 (lemon, shallot confit in xeres vinegar), Langoustine Linguine (caviar, langoustine bisque), Wood Grilled Octopus (dried chorizo, tomato tartare), Slow Cooked 250D Grain-Fed Angus Short Ribs, and Pain Perdu (drizzled with caramel sauce).

Pimento Liqueur, Supasawa, vanilla essence, Paragon Timur berry cordial), and Sailor’s Tears (Bombay Sapphire, Italicus Supasawa, Mirin sweet wine, jasmine tea, osmanthus, chamomile tea).
