The evening is an ode to old school Italian glamour and draws inspiration from the island of Sicily. Guests will feel like they have been transported to an era of vintage Vespas and vibrant piazzas, thanks to the elaborate performances and traditional cuisine. Expect colourful salads, homemade ravioli and tagliatelle, creamy burrata, fresh seafood paella and wood-fired pizzas topped with buffalo mozzarella, black truffle and lobster. Rooftop destination REX Bar brings true Italian style to Dubai Marina. The new venue, which runs for a limited winter season, offers views across the Arabian Gulf accompanied by beverages and laid-back aperitivo dishes. Paying homage to the Italian ocean liner SS Rex that won the ‘Blue Riband’ for the fastest crossing of the Atlantic in 1933, visitors will feel as if they have boarded the luxury ocean liner.
