Groove on The Grass returns to Riyadh with marvellous music 

The alfresco fun takes place this February in Al Ammariyah.

Get into the groove, Saudi Arabia. The music festival, Groove on The Grass, is coming to Riyadh. Taking place on 9 February, it looks set to be an exciting event, and brings together local as well as international acts. 

Groove on The Grass takes place outdoors in Al Ammariyah, which is on the outskirts of Riyadh. The open-air event is a wonderful way to enjoy live music, and make the most of the cooler weather. 

Groove on the Grass has been running for almost ten years, and started life in Dubai, UAE. In February 2022, the festival returned to the UAE with a twist, and was held at Dunes Resort in Ras Al Khaimah. The event has come to Saudi Arabia multiple times, and taken place in Jeddah and Riyadh. This year’s event marks the fourth edition of the festival in Saudi Arabia, as it made its debut in 2022.

The festival has been influential to the Middle East’s music scene, and it has introduced more than 180 artists to the region. Plus, it has been key at showcasing local dance acts to a wider market. 

We have some groovy news: tickets are available now. Groove on The Grass starts from 5pm, and visitors must be aged 18 years or older. General tickets start from SAR 250. VIP first release tickets start from SAR 498. Backstage first release tickets start from SAR 1,002, and gives visitors the chance to enjoy the atmosphere in front and behind the scenes.
