13 King Street Brunch at Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi

Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi will join forces with Chivas Regal 13 Whisky for one weekend only to host a special edition of its popular Nikkei Brunch. The 13 King Street Brunch will feature live entertainment and an immersive Chivas tasting. The Chivas Regal Team’s mixologists will go around with a trolley to give Chivas 13 sampling while explaining the history and ageing process of the product. Fusing the magical tastes of Japanese and Peruvian cooking, the lavish event also invites guests to indulge in The Nikkei Brunch’s curated set menu, including tuna Midori ceviche, salmon truffle tataki, beef aged gyoza and prawn tempura. Saturday 12 February, from 7pm to 10pm. AED 375 (soft beverages) and AED 495 (house beverages).

Ori-Gin Infusions & Bao at Sontaya

Sontaya, meaning sunset in Thai, offers the perfect excuse to enjoy glorious sunset views while dining on some of the best Thai food the capital has to offer. With floating pavilions to set the tone for an exquisite meal, the picturesque Southeast Asian Restaurant will be celebrating the enchanting flavours of Ori-Gin infusions all month long. Diners can enjoy more than 40 homemade fusions, incorporating lavender, basil, peach and turmeric, paired with a platter of spicy bao buns. A street food snack traditionally served in Asia, Sontaya’s light bao buns are served three per diner, with a choice of sesame beef, panko prawns and satay chicken. Available daily until 28 February. AED 150 per person (including three gin infusions and a platter of three bao buns).

D’Rum Toast at The Manhattan Lounge 

Rum connoisseurs will be in their element as they enjoy one of the UAE’s most extensive collections of rare rums and cachacas. The D’Rum Toast presents five exclusive rum flights from renowned distilleries across the globe. Each flight consists of three one-ounce (30ml) samplings, showcasing how traditional techniques and ageing processes affect the taste and sensations of every bottle. Guests can choose between spice blends from the Caribbean Islands, cocoa blends sourced from the West Indies and Colombia, and fruity blends inspired by the flavours of the Seychelles. Available daily until 28 February. Each flight is available for a set price.

Nikkei Brunch at Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi 

Providing an elevated weekend gathering, The Nikkei Brunch highlights the culinary art of Japanese and Peruvian cooking. The curated menu served on the beachfront terrace or inside the chic restaurant boasts a curated menu of more than 20 creative dishes. Head Chef Renzo Reyes’ exquisite brunch menu takes diners on a culinary voyage and features salmon truffle tataki, prawn tempura, beef robatayaki and black pepper chicken. The atmospheric evening event is complemented by Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi’s resident DJ, who will add some excitement with a magnetic mix of deep house beats. Saturdays, from 7pm to 10pm. AED 375 (soft beverages) and AED 495 (house beverages).
