During the Holy Month, FIYA at Keturah Reserve offers a Ramadan menu from Arab pitmaster Hattem Mattar. Set against a backdrop of ancient olive trees and the starlit sky, the menu includes Char Wood Oven Cauliflower, Faro Fattoush, Lamb Asador and the meat of the day, slow-cooked for tenderness, served alongside grilled chicken, mandi rice, and a selection of sauces. Check out the Ramadan District

Add a bit of culture to the Holy Month, and visit the Ramadan District at Jumeirah Emirates Towers. Set against the backdrop of Dubai’s Museum of the Future, the event brings together art, food and shopping. The venue boasts an Arabesque setting, and guests can dine under the stars while taking in the spectacular skyline. Elsewhere, the family-friendly market draws inspiration from a traditional Arabic village and features live performances, food stalls and a dedicated children’s area. The Ramadan District is free to enter and is open daily from 4pm to 2am.

Visit Hai Ramadan

Are you missing Expo? Well, Expo City Dubai’s Hai Ramadan festival will offer activities during the Holy Month. Running from 9 March to 8 April, it brings together food, games and workshops. The event takes place at Al Wasl Plaza and features a vibrant souk filled with handcrafted treasures, traditional attire, and enchanting Ramadan-themed items. Visitors can also enjoy the immersive children’s workshops, where Emirati customs and crafts come alive. The festival takes place from 5pm to midnight and entry is AED 20 per person.

Visit the Bulgari Majlis

Check out Montblanc Majlis by Ninive

25hours Hotel Dubai One Central is famous for its uber-trendy vibes. Now, it has opened Montblanc Majlis by Ninive during the Holy Month of Ramadan. The majlis is available in the evenings for iftars and suhoors and looks set to be a fashionable spot. The Iftar menu includes starters, soups, mains, and desserts. The starters include Shorbat Addas Soup, Quinoa Spiced Mango, and Sweet Pepper Eggplant. The mains include Tashreeb, a slow-cooked lamb shoulder with chickpeas, and Mini Grilled Beef and Chicken Skewers, which come with roasted pumpkin and black olives. The desserts include Umm Ali with vanilla ice cream, Mini Turkish Baklava with pistachio ice cream, and a Watermelon Platter. The iftar runs Daily from sunset to 9pm. AED 285 per person.

Watch the Saudi Super Cup

Abu Dhabi, get ready for a sporting spectacle. The Saudi Super Cup is leaving the Kingdom for the first time and will take place on 8 and 11 April in the UAE capital. Plus, it’s a chance to catch footballing legends, from Cristiano Rolando to Karim Benzema. The three-match tournament kicks off on 8 April. Afroworld 2024 will bring together the most renowned names in African music. Laugh out loud with Frank Skinner

The annual Dubai Comedy Festival is back, and so are the stars. Boasting a comedy career that spans nearly four decades, Christopher Graham Collins MBE, professionally known as Frank Skinner, has mastered the art of observational humour. Known for iconic television shows such as Fantasy Football League and Baddiel and Skinner Unplanned, as well as his role as the host of The Frank Skinner Show on Absolute Radio, Skinner’s versatile talent has garnered widespread acclaim. See The Kid Laroi live in Dubai

Australian rapper The Kid Laroi is coming to Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena on 19 April. The Kid Laroi started off by uploading music onto SoundCloud and signed a development deal with Sony Music Australia. His singles include Addison Rae, Diva, Go, Thousand Miles, Without You, and Stay, a collaboration with Justin Bieber. Over his career, he has collaborated with Miley Cyrus and Tokyo’s Revenge.
