Feast on Italian delights overlooking JBR
Via Toledo is now open at Address Beach Resort in JBR. Famed for its array of Neapolitan-style pizzas and Italian grape, the restaurant is the brainchild of chef Francesco Calo, who aims to give his guests an authentic Italian dining experience. The pizzas are made using a unique blend of flours to ensure digestibility and lightness, all enhanced by sublime toppings ranging from beluga caviar to alba white truffle and even 24K gold. Enter the jungle for a refined business lunch
Head to DIFC hotspot Amazónico to indulge in the three-course Japazónico lunch menu. Showcasing Amazónico’s tropical take on traditional sushi. Begin with a light quinoa salad, followed by a selection of tiradito, including sweet hamachi flavoured with passion fruit teriyaki. Guests can then choose one maki and one nigiri from a selection that includes a zesty Amazónico Roll with avocado, mango, coconut and cacao nibs, the Sea Bass and Rocotor Roll or the aromatic Yuzu Rosemary Roll. Dine on Asian specialities at Dubai’s hottest new restaurant
Now open at Jumeirah Al Naseem’s Turtle Lagoon, MayaBay Dubai has been a long time in the making. The latest venue from Orange Hospitality (Alici and Il Borro) is decorated with warm and intricately carved wooden panels accentuated by natural stones and large glass windows that provide uninterrupted views of the Burj Al Arab. The menu is rooted in traditional Asian cuisine, with signature dishes including the Maya Crispy Duck, Pad Thai, MayaBay Sashimi, Yam Ped Tap Tim (duck salad), and Black Cod with miso and honey. Shoot for the stars
The FACT award-winning Galaxy Bar will host the rising stars of the Dubai cocktail community for a special evening under the stars. Celebrating their peers of the bar scene, Galaxy Bar has invited six accomplished bartenders from the likes of ROKA, Mimi Kakushi, Papa Dubai and Soho Hospitality Group to celebrate their talents. A new jazz venue in town is hitting all the right notes. The newly-opened Jass Lounge in DIFC hosts live music, including jazz, soul, funk and blues. The current musical line-up takes place from Wednesday to Saturday night and celebrates the best live jazz musicians in Dubai.
