Trendy Al Quoz cafe, Cassette’s cooling specials menu offers dishes with a ‘cooling’ twist, working with seasonal food to craft cold dishes to help beat the heat. With acai puree, feijoa, apple pulp, fresh kiwi, mango, strawberry, blueberry, pomegranate and toasted pistachios, the Summer Acai Bowl is sure to cool you down. Meanwhile, the Beets Salad with carrot, quinoa, and spinach offers a light lunch packed with superfoods, and the Chickpea Melt with pear and Gouda cheese is excellent for those looking for something more filling. The new dishes have been created by Casette’s Chef Shaunne, showcasing his classical French training combined with a modern flair. Available Sunday to Thursday, from 8am to 6pm.

Ideal for those looking to enjoy a lazy summer sunset while enjoying beautiful views, Uzbek food and cooling beverages. The licensed venue has designated areas on the first floor, offering drinks created by artistic mixologists, while the ground floor terrace is suited for more family-friendly gatherings. Tuck into the new summer set menu offer at Zengo, Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa

Zengo is showcasing delicious Asian dishes, tasty drinks, great tunes and superb views this summer. Diners can choose three courses from a set menu complete with a bottle of either house white or red grape. The Pan-Asian feast starts with a choice of starters, including spicy tuna with avocado, crispy calamari with Thai chilli sauce or vegetable spring rolls. Sumptuous main courses include a choice of stir-fried chicken noodles, corn-fed chicken green curry or a vegetable and tofu massaman curry. Finish on a sweet note with traditional matcha cheesecake with red bean jam, tropical fruit or a choice of homemade ice creams and sorbet. A resident DJ will be playing the latest house and commercial beats on Tuesdays and Sundays to keep you grooving throughout the evening. Available Sunday to Friday, from 7pm to midnight. Join French patissier David Croiser for a three-hour macaroon masterclass at Mondoux Dubai Creek Harbour as he unravels the mystery of making these delicate confectionaries. Learn how to whip up the perfect meringue, intricate macaroon-making techniques, ensure excellent flavour selection and learn the art of filling preparation. End the evening with a two-course meal, including homemade lemonade and a hot beverage (coffee or tea), at the picturesque Mondoux. Wednesday, from 4pm. From Dubai culture curators, The Circle Socials comes the launch of There Goes The Neighborhood, an alternative market experience at the two-story cafe and restaurant, One Life Kitchen. There Goes The Neighborhood includes spoken word open mic sessions, an incredible curated market of over 20 African owned vendors, a tour of Africa Street Food from One Life’s Chef Kelvin with flamed-grilled Mozambican chicken, North African harissa oxtail stew and West African peanut stew with sweet potato and kale. Mischievous Monkey Brunch at MASTI, La Mer

MASTI’s Chef Prashant has curated an eclectic four-course menu exploring bold and effervescent flavours of India with a quirky global twist. The brunch menu, served la carte, features classic MASTI favourites and dishes new to the menu. To start, guests can choose one cold appetiser and one hot appetiser from a selection of dishes, including corn and moong sprout chaat, pulled Tandoori chicken bao and Mastified kejariwal. Main courses include Not Your Average Pizza with Burrata, truffle and makhani sauce, beef Scotch eggs. Straciatella butter chicken and new style biryani. Ending the meal on a sweet high are desserts such as choco-lotus delight and rasmalai coconut cake. Saturdays, from 1pm to 5pm. AED 195 (soft beverages) and AED 295 (house beverages).
