Support Breast Cancer Awareness month at Alici, Bluewaters Dubai 

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Orange Hospitality has partnered with Al Jalila Foundation and Brest Friends to raise local breast cancer research awareness. Throughout October, Alici will be offering a special Pink Menu featuring a variety of enticing creations with a pink twist. Dishes include carpaccio di rape rosse (heritage beetroot carpaccio with mascarpone cheese and walnuts) and risotto ai gamberi di Mazara (risotto with Mazara prawns). Guests are also in for a treat with Alici’s delightfully unique dessert, gelato alla burrata (burrata ice cream) and limited-edition mocktail, Al Jalila Flower. Available daily until 31 October.

Celebrate The National Day of Spain at MYRRA, Club Vista Mare

Myrra will be hosting a unique experience to celebrate Spanish National Day. Enjoy an evening filled with Spanish flavours, where you’ll be able to enjoy Sangria, charcuterie platters, traditional Spanish sandwiches, octopus a la Gallega, and crunchy croquetas de queso. Listen to Tracey Preston at Q’s Bar and Lounge, Palazzo Versace Dubai

Tracy Preston is the latest international artist to perform at Palazzo Versace’s fully soundproofed jazz bar and lounge. Known for her signature sound, which blends gospel with the rhythm of modern R&B, Tracey wowed audiences across the world with an appearance on NBC’s The Voice season 18. Accompanying Tracey will be Dante Kennedy, Creative Director of Music at Palazzo Versace Dubai. Together the two talents have created a catalogue of past and present hits for each show. Tuesday to Saturday, from 9pm to 1am. AED 250 per person minimum spend (weekdays), and AED 350 per person minimum spend (weekends).

Menú del Dia lunches at Lola Taberna Española, TRYP by Wyndham Dubai

Lola Taberna Española’s Menú del Dia (Menu of the Day) is available inside the restaurant, where Spanish music flows, or on El Patio, which is fully covered and air-conditioned. Indulge in generous portions of Ensalada de Tomates & Atún (tomato and tuna salad), Ajo Blanco con Uvas & Almendras (Andalusian cold garlic and almond soup), Pa Amb Tomaquet & Jamón Serrano (toasted bread with tomato and Serrano ham) and Croquetas de Cabrales (cheese croquettes) for Starters. Mains feature Pollo & Espinacas a la Plancha (grilled chicken with spinach), Filete de Lubina a la Plancha (grilled seabass fillet), Tortilla “Vaga” con Morcilla & Piparras (“lazy” omelette with blood sausage and basque pepper) and Fideuá de Gambas (fideua with prawns). Infinite Nights starring Kadim Al Sahir at Expo 2020 Dubai

Kadim Al Sahir, one of the greatest Arab artists of all time, will capture the world’s imagination as he opens the ‘Infinite Nights’ series from the heart of Expo 2020 with a night of outstanding entertainment. From the world’s largest 360° projection surface inside the impressive Al Wasl dome, Kadim Al Sahir will perform a concert that will be live-streamed for the entire world to enjoy, with many options for you to be part of it all. In line with capacity limits and social-distancing regulations, access to Al Wasl Plaza is for invited guests only. Still, Expo ticket-holders will be able to soak up the electric atmosphere and watch the show on outdoor screens at Expo’s Jubilee Park. The concert will also be streamed on Virtual Expo and Expo TV on YouTube.
