Chay Time at LAO, Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah
The word chay (meaning vegetarian or vegan) is a way of cooking in Vietnam. LAO will be offering a special vegan ‘Chay Time’ three-course menu throughout May. Dishes on offer include seitan salad, vegan shumai mushroom and a unique tropical raindrop cake with roasted green soybean and pandan syrup for dessert. Available daily, from6:30pm to 11pm. Take a break from your desk and embark on a culinary adventure with Ikigai’s new Itadakimasu Business Lunch set menu. Begin your culinary journey with a selection of starters, including chicken gyoza and seafood tacos with chilli mayo. Il Caviale at Torno Subito, W Dubai – The Palm
Available throughout May, the six-course ‘Il Caviale’ menu offers a caviar tasting feast. The tasting menu offers various delectable dishes, such as Welcome From The Kitchen (a buttered potato coupled with fresh bread and caviar), Sicilian red shrimp carpaccio with yoghurt, lemon and black caviar, focaccia with smoked amberjack, creme fraiche and black caviar, a green pea Tagliolini, served with mantis shrimps and black caviar and a succulent Wagyu flank steak served with smoked cauliflower, pan brioche, cacao sauce and black caviar. Diners who order two Il Caviale tasting menus per table will also receive a complimentary bottle of house grape. Available daily until 11:30. AED 599 per person (food only).

Sunset Yoga at Zero Gravity
Head to beach club Zero Gravity for a sunset yoga session on the sand. The candlelit beach setup includes bean bags and sofas, accompanied by Vinyasa yoga flow from Karina Onga that is suitable for all ages. Wednesdays, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Lazy Afternoons with Betty at The Pangolin
Betty is the name of the smoker found at the heart of The Pangolin, assimilating the wood-fired style of cooking the restaurant prides itself upon. The new lazy lunch concept uses the smoker to prepare a three-course menu, including beef and three vegetable skewers, coal-roasted sea bream, pulled smoked fish croquettes and open fire-roasted oysters.
