Enjoy a Coyote Ugly themed ladies and gents’ night at Hudson Tavern

The newly opened Hudson Tavern will have the after-work crowd feeling like they can dance on the bar on Tuesdays, with an evening inspired by the movie Coyote Ugly. Diners can unleash their inner pop star to the sounds of the classic ’00’s soundtrack as featured in the film. Elsewhere, Hudson Tavern’s mixologist Tony Paul will be on hand to mix up cocktails while a three-course menu of signature dishes includes Baby Gem Bites with Quinoa Avocado Salad, Turkey Croquettes and The Hudson Sliders. Celebrate La Chandeleur Day at Carine

In celebration of the time-honoured French tradition of La Chandeleur Day, Carine will serve an array of sweet, delicate crêpes for lunch during the week. La Chandeleur Day marks one of the most superstitious days in the French Calendar, whereby crêpes are traditionally eaten on 2 February to bring luck, positivity, and prosperity for the year ahead. Choose between Carine’s Crêpe Au Caramel Salé filled with warm, velvety salted caramel or the Crêpe Au Chocolat et à la fraise comprising dark chocolate adorned with strawberries. Available daily until Sunday 6 February.

Try the new Saturday Brunch at Matagi

This new brunch features a sharing set menu that highlights Matagi’s signature dishes, beginning with a selection of appetisers including Rock Shrimp Tempura, Crispy Fried Squid and Black Cod and Prawn Gyoza. Followed by a selection of exotic Maki rolls such as Crispy Chicken and Quails Egg with Teriyaki sauce, California King Crab and avocado, and T&T Tuna tartare with creamy black truffle and fried leek. For the main course, guests can tuck into a wholesome selection of dishes such as Miso Black Cod, A5 Wagyu Striploin and Seabass Clay Pot Rice. Saturdays, from 1pm to 4pm. Sample the Fuyu Tasting Menu at 99 Sushi Bar & Restaurant

“Fuyu” means winter in Japanese and with the land of the rising sun celebrating purity in winter, so does the culinary team at 99 Sushi. The 11-course menu features the Hosomaki, Spicy Tuna Tartar, Toro Tataki, Sea Urchin Tempura, Temptsuyu Maki and Grilled Foie Nigiri. No one can resist the 99 Yuzu Cheesecake topped with kunafa ice cream for a sweet finish. AED 899 per couple, AED 1,599 per couple (including a bottle of French bubbles) and AED 4,499 per couple (including a bottle of Dom Perignon).
