Participate in a culinary masterclass at Teible

Dubai’s recently-opened farm-to-table restaurant, Teible, will host a culinary masterclass as part of the Dubai Food Festival that will showcase skills used in fermentation and creating low-waste sourdough. The ‘Fermentation Masterclass’ with Chef Carlos will take place on May 10 at 3pm and will highlight the main pillars of fermentation, as well as compare the reactions of fermentation on different ingredients such as vegetables, dairy products and the liquid form. The interactive masterclass will provide attendees with knowledge on fermentation and to experience the flavour profiles the process creates. AED 550 per person.

Hidden behind a bookcase in the hotel’s lobby, diners will enter the Flashback Speakeasy Bar & Lounge and travel back to California in 1932, where a famous Italian American film producer has been murdered. So put on your investigation hat as you step into a story straight out of a film at this movie-inspired hotel and help solve a century-old homicide. Visit an Urban Pop Art Exhibition

Already recognised as a phenomenon in the urban pop art world, the visual artist known as BARNABE presents his Broken Mosaic exhibition at Foundry in Downtown Dubai. Featuring paintings created specifically for the show and a selection of original sculptures and small canvases, Broken Mosaic sets out to explore the colour palette of the night and its hidden qualities while calling into question our perception of the night as a time devoid of colour and activity.
