Discover the Japanese art of Kabuki

Netsu by Ross Shonhan at Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai, will pay homage to the traditional art of Kabuki with an exhibition from Japanese photographer Hiroshi Watanabe. Kabuki is a classical form of Japanese dance-drama dating back to 1603, and Watanabe’s acclaimed ‘Kabuki Secrets’ portrait series will be the first time his work has been exhibited in the Middle East. To elevate the experience further, Netsu will be serving a selection of theatrical dishes and cocktails throughout the month. These include the tuna tamaki hand roll, wagyu kawarayaki grill and Mont Blanc dessert, each prepared tableside to bring a Kabuki-inspired theatrical element to the experience. Available 12 October to 12 November, from 6:30pm to 11:30pm.
