Located in Fashion Avenue at The Dubai Mall, the new homegrown eatery from Chef Izu serves relaxed French-Mediterranean cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner in an effortlessly elegant setting seeping with romance. La Maison Ani is also home to an exquisite boulangerie and patisserie, both inspired by the daily rituals of French culture.

Indulge in the new creations at Black Tap

Black Tap have partnered with luxury American automaker Cadillac to introduce the Cadillac CrazyShake and Cadillac Burger. The Cadillac CrazyShake (AED 69) features a shake glass covered with a white frosted rim, carefully studded with gleaming gold and blue chocolate balls and filled with a creamy black chocolate shake, before being adorned with a Cadillac-themed cookie and chocolate mallow pie. Elsewhere, the Cadillac Burger (AED 149) features a piece of prime beef fillet steak topped with creamy truffle-mushroom sauce, golden shredded potatoes, parmesan cheese, truffle aioli and a generous showering of fresh black truffle. Available daily until 30 June.

Brunch in the clouds at Fi’lia

With a home-style Italian menu, diners are encouraged to visit Fi’lia on the 70th floor of SLS Dubai Hotel and Residences for brunch amidst the clouds. Nibble on baked focaccia, crunchy arancini and mussels cooked in a white wine sauce while enjoying music from a live violinist. For the main event, freshly-baked bresaola and burrata pizza will be served in the middle of the table, alongside rigatoni with tomato sauce and ricotta salata. Enjoy a piece of steak from the grill but make sure you save room for the venue’s signature dessert, Fi’liamisu. Saturdays, from 12;30pm to 4pm. Beat the heat with brunch at FireLake Grill House & Cocktail Bar

You don’t have to miss the epic Burj Khalifa views during summer as FireLake Grill House & Cocktail Bar has been encased inside a summer tent to keep you cool while you dine alfresco. During the weekly brunch, guests are encouraged to order as many small plates as they like, from smoked and charred meats to coal-roasted vegetables. There’s also a selection of bigger plates and delicious desserts, in addition to live music. Saturdays, from 12;30pm to 4pm. Celebrate World Paloma Day beneath the stars

FACT award-winning cocktail lounge, Galaxy Bar, celebrates World Paloma Day with Athens’ institution Barro Negro (currently ranked 74th by World’s 50 Best Bars in 2021). To mark the celebration, Galaxy Bar will showcase three exclusive takes on the Mexican cocktail in a venue specially dressed for the occasion. Conceived as a poetic tribute to the meaning of the word Paloma (Spanish for ‘Dove’), Galaxy Bar’s starry night sky will be adorned with white origami Doves draped from the ceiling.

Try the new brunch at Caviar Kaspia

Caviar Kaspia is celebrating the arrival of summer with the introduction of a weekend brunch. The four-course affair begins with freshly baked viennoiseries, Kaspia’s signature beef carpaccio, fried chicken and Piroshki (minced beef buns). Diners are then offered a choice of eggs, whilst main courses feature Caviar Kaspia’s stuffed croissant or buckwheat risotto. Brunch ends with Kaspia’s decadent desserts, such as pain perdu with wild berries, rosewater milk cake or a stack of fluffy pancakes. Available on Saturdays and Sundays, from 12pm to 4pm. AED 375 per person (inclusive of one hot drink and one alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage).
