Support a good cause at Origami Sushi
A sushi place that’s been the talk of the town is donating all profits from the sale of its Japanese Chocolates Box to Dubai Cares, a UAE-based global philanthropic organisation. Origami Sushi is supporting this mission with a fundraising initiative that lasts for three months. Dubai Cares, part of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, has been working towards providing children and youth access to quality education. The chocolate selection includes four distinctive flavour combinations made in-house. A box contains 12 pieces of choice and is sold at AED 155. Available at Origami Dubai Mall and Origami Sharjah until 28 November 2022.

Head to 25hours Hotel One Central this weekend and enjoy a culinary pop-up from cult-favourite homegrown noodle brand, Ugly Noodles. Available for two days only inside the Arabesque courtyard at Nomad Day, diners can enjoy delicious dumplings or steaming bowls of soup. Must-order dishes include the Dan Dan noodles, wagyu beef cumin skewers, Sichuan wontons, canvas gelato and milligram cheesecake. Ugly Noodles marks the first in a series of quirky pop-up restaurants. Available on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 October, from 2pm to 9pm.
