Featuring nine courses, the menu kicks off with a selection of starters including salted edamame, classic hosomaki, and ‘Capumiso soup’ – the 99 Sushi version of miso soup presented like a cappuccino. To follow, Alaskan King Crab and Fatty Tuna Tartar Gunkan and Sea Bass and Scallop Flambé Nigiri plates are served. To complement the dishes, guests are welcome to a cup of coffee or tea. Chestnuts and Champagne at Sontaya, The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort:
Sontaya, meaning sunset in Thai, offers the perfect excuse to enjoy glorious sunset views while sipping on bubbles. Each weekend evening in February, the venue offers live roasting of chestnuts paired with free-flowing Pommery Brut Royal Champagne.
