Prime68, JW Marriott Marquis Dubai’s popular steakhouse, has partnered with South African Thelema Mountain Vineyards to host a five-course grape pairing dinner, promising a unique culinary experience for food and grape enthusiasts. Take part in a Mexican masterclass

As part of this year’s Dubai Food Festival, chef Shaw Lash will host a series of masterclasses at Lila Wood-Fired Taqueria on Jumeirah Beach Road. Participants will learn about the in-house grinding process of corn for the best retention of nutrients for making tortillas. Join a four hands dinner

Issei at Radisson Hotel Dubai DAMAC Hills is hosting a Four Hands Chef Dinner to celebrate Dubai Food Festival. Here, head chef Luisa Serna from Peru and Gabriela Chamorro of “The Girl and The Goose” supper club will take diners on a journey through Latin American cuisine. AfroPop singer and songwriter MKO will lead an immersive concert at Dubai’s Theatre of Digital Art. Escape into a fairytale

Enter a magical world of wonder as Disney Princess – The Concert comes to Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena. The cast will perform over 30 Disney Princess songs, including classics like Let It Go from Frozen, A Whole New World from Aladdin, Reflection from Mulan, and How Far I’ll Go from Moana. Sing along to the Backstreet Boys

Backstreet’s back. The American pop group Backstreet Boys will perform at Etihad Arena on Sunday, 7 May. Nineties kids will be buzzing with excitement, as this is your chance to see Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson. Immerse yourself in a gastro-theatre

The culinary genre of gastro theatre is only growing in popularity, pairing haute cuisine with visual art and technology to create an immersive dining experience — but it can come with a hefty price tag. AED 2,318 to be exact. Guests at the newly-opened Krasota Dubai are invited to enter a gastronomical theatre, an auditorium with a large circular table for 20 diners, with a pixel-perfect 3D multimedia performance projected across the curved walls and adorned table. City Social has announced the launch of its very first brunch, where diners can expect modern European cuisine influenced by Japanese flavours, free-flowing drinks, live entertainment, and views of the ever-changing skyline. Abu Dhabi, start your engines because Monster Jam will be celebrating its 30th anniversary, returning to Abu Dhabi for the first time since 2013. In the action-packed competition, world-class male and female drivers will show off their skills. The 5,500kg vehicles do backflips, two-wheelers and go up to 110kph. Visit the region’s largest indoor adrenaline park

Catering to just about every age, Adrenark Adventure brings more than 20 thrilling activities to the capital. Located in Al Qana, some of the most spine-tingling activities include Through the Roof, a drop tower that literally transports you through the roof. Be the first to visit SeaWorld Abu Dhabi

If you’re after more animal experiences in the UAE, make sure you check out SeaWorld Abu Dhabi. The marine life theme park located on Yas Island will open on 23 May. In true UAE style, the attraction plans to break world records and be home to the world’s largest aquarium. The aquarium will house 25 million litres of water and more than 68,000 marine animals, which range from sharks to sea turtles. The park spans 183,000 square meters and eight themed realms, will feature up-close animal encounters, entertainment, rides, plus dining and shopping experiences.

Visit Abu Dhabi’s new water circus

Cirque Du Liban’s Fontana made a splash in Dubai and now hopes to do the same in Abu Dhabi. The troupe are coming to the capital for the first time and are setting up a circus at Marina Mall. Cirque du Liban’s Fontana is the first travelling water circus in the Middle East. So, the show will take place in the tailor-made Aquatic Theatre. The thrilling theatrics range from a dancing musical fountain to motorcycle stunts. During the show, you’ll be wowed by a range of circus performers including dancers, trapeze artists, singers and good old-fashioned clowns. Available daily until 2 July.
