Amr Diab unveils new album and Middle East concert series

His new album drops on Thursday, 28 December.

Amr Diab fans, rejoice. The Egyptian pop sensation is about to release his long-awaited album, Makanak. Not only that, but this album drop will be followed by a series of concerts.

Amr Diab’s Makanak — releasing on 28 December — is a genre-defying work that showcases the singer’s musical evolution. The 12-song album, the first since the release Ya Ana Ya La in December 2020, blends Arabic Maqsoum with the global beats of deep house vibes. This unique fusion has become synonymous with Amr Diab’s recent hits, such as Ya Leil and Wallahi Abadan.

Taking the Makanak experience to a whole new level will be a series of live concerts. The official tour kicks off in Abu Dhabi on 2 March, followed by performances in Cairo, Dubai, and Amman. The concerts will combine cutting-edge technology with the raw energy of Amr’s live performance, making it an unforgettable experience.
