Celebrate Burns Night at The Duck Hook:

The Duck Hook, the characterful country gastropub at Dubai Hills Golf Club is marking Burns Night, the traditional Scottish celebration of poet Robert Burns and his contribution to Celtic culture, with promotions on food and beverages. Celebrants can enjoy a traditional Burns supper with special dishes including Cullen skink soup (diced potato leeks, smoked haddock and cream), haggis scotch egg with Arran mustard mayonnaise, and a highland favourite, deep-fried Mars Bar for dessert. Available from 25 to 28 January, the special dishes can be washed down with limited-edition beverages like the scotch slate with a choice of three scotch beverages served alongside dark chocolate for just AED 125, as well as scotch cocktails priced at AED 45.

Hutong, the contemporary Northern Chinese restaurant and bar located in the DIFC, has kicked off the new year with a new addition to its dinner menuA sensational twist on their signature Peking Duck, the Flaming Duck is a gastronomical experience, never before seen in Dubai. The duck is carefully prepared for 24 hours using a traditional recipe said to have been developed over one hundred years ago for the Emperor, before being flamed tableside by Hutong’s chef. Flaming the duck elevates the taste with enriched flavours and smoky undertones, while the meat remains moist and tender.
