Mohalla and Chef Akmal Anuar team up for an exciting four Hands Collaboration

For two nights only, travel from the streets of India to the streets of Japan.

In recent weeks Dubai has seen an increase in collaborative dinners. We at Fact couldn’t be happier to see some of our favourite chefs and venues teaming up to support one another during these unprecedented times for the industry.

The latest high-profile team comes from award-winning Chef Akmal Anuar, formerly of 3Fils, and locally born Indian concept, Mohalla.

For two nights only, Chef Akmal will be collaborating with Mohalla’s Adwait Anantwar for an epic four-hands dinner. This two-night collaboration promises to bring to life the passions and personal touches of the two acclaimed chefs via a seven-course menu of great food without gimmicks.

While the menu is strictly under wraps, diners can expect dishes that have never been seen (or tasted) before but are bound to excite the palate. Together the chefs will showcase their underlying love for food served in a simple yet impactful way.

Mohalla is a restaurant that has been designed as an ode to the ‘community neighbourhoods’ of India, presenting diners with the authentic earthiness and rural values of Indian food in an urban setting. It will be exciting to see how this fuses with the Japanese cuisine upon which Chef Akmal has built his reputation.

Expect the unexpected but be sure to get your reservations in quick, as seating is strictly limited.

The collaborative dinner will take place at Mohalla, Building 5, Dubai Design District, on Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 March, from 7:30pm. AED 400 per person.
