L’ATELIER DE JOËL ROBUCHON TO OPEN IN DIFC

L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon will be open on Sunday October 4.

L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon will be opening its doors in DIFC on Sunday, October 4. The new concept comes to us from acclaimed chef and restauranteur Joël Robuchon who currently holds the title as the chef who has the most stars in the Michelin guide.

L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Dubai will join the upmarket dining options in Gate Village, with the main dining room comfortably seating 104 guests, with additional capacity for a further 68 people on the expansive terrace. The restaurant has been designed in distinct Joël Robuchon style, meaning diners can expect the brand’s signature red and black colour scheme, accentuated by touches of brass in a refined yet informal dining experience.

The philosophy of the concept revolves around the restaurant’s open kitchen that infuses the space with a sense of dynamic energy. The two kitchen areas which have been designed by Gatserelia Design studio and will showcase dishes being meticulously crafted, while chefs transform the finest ingredients into exquisite creations. Ensuring the artistry of dishes are the essence of L’Atelier’s experience, the kitchen will be presided over by Robuchon’s protegee; Executive Chef Axel Manes, one of the youngest and most creative chefs to have received a Michelin star.

The menu at L’Atelier Dubai will revolve around seasonal ingredients which have been carefully sourced from over 100 different producers. Dishes will compromise of only a few elements to allow the ingredients to shine, as Axel Manes takes Joel Robuchon’s signature dishes and gives them a modern twist. Diners can expect French fine-dining with a selection dishes prepared in front of guest that includes crispy poached egg with caviar, truffle pizza, Dover sole à la plancha, as well as vegetarian ceviches and carpaccio.

The restaurant will launch with a business lunch option, available from Sunday to Thursday, offering the best quality products in a lighter edit of dishes at AED 129 AED for three-courses. For gourmands, there will also be two tasting menus offered, the decouverte menu at AED 399 and the ten-course epicure at AED 699, which has been specially created by the chef.

L’Atelier Dubai is the latest restaurant in the exciting ‘L’Atelier’ concept, which currently operates venues in 12 cities across the globe, including, New York, Paris and Hong Kong.
