For the first time in a live arena experience, the Guardians of the Galaxy will join forces with The Avengers. Together, they will embark on a grand adventure to battle Loki and recover an artefact with potent mystical forces that can rule or annihilate the entire universe. With 42 performers and over 100 costumes, audiences will be transported from the bustling streets of New York City to the far reaches of the galaxy. This journey unfolds through expansive projection mapping, dazzling pyrotechnics, state-of-the-art special effects, and awe-inspiring stunts at Coca-Cola Arena. The show runs daily until 4 February. Attend the All Africa Festival

The All Africa Festival is coming to the capital. Taking place in Etihad Park, it will bring together entertainment from international musicians and local DJs to celebrate African culture. Having taken the Afrobeats scene by storm, Omah Lay will headline the event. His hit tracks include Bad Influence, Holy Ghost, I’m A Mess and Attention, a collaboration with Justin Bieber. He will be joined on the night by Majoos, Stonebwoy, Vegedream and Emirati rapper Freek.

Experience a culinary collab at TakaHisa

TakaHisa at Banyan Tree Dubai will team up with the Michelin-starred Sushi Kibatani from Japan for an exclusive culinary collaboration. This event unites Chefs Taka and Hisa from TakaHisa with the chef-owner Mitsuhiro Kibatani from Sushi Kibatani. The dinner will showcase a multi-course omakase menu highlighting traditional Japanese cuisine with a focus on seafood while paying homage to Kanazawa, a historic town on Japan’s west coast known for classical architecture and meticulously landscaped gardens. Check out Cloud 22’s Dolce&Gabbana collab

Cloud 22 at Atlantis The Royal is taking its sky pool to new heights. Located on Palm Jumeirah, the FACT award winning venue has collaborated with Dolce&Gabbana and Ounass, decking out the venue in a dazzling design, which draws its inspiration from Italy. Dolce&Gabbana’s blue majolica prints can be found across the sun loungers, umbrellas and even beach balls. Plus, there is a special Dolce&Gabbana menu with dishes including Bruschetta with Oscietra Caviar, Gillardeau Oysters drizzled with Amalfi lemon and balsamico sauce, and Steak Tartare with truffle.

Take a dip in the UAE’s longest infinity pool

The UAE is raising the bar again. Located in One&Only One Za’abeel, the country’s longest infinity pool stretches 120 metres long and boasts Insta-worthy views of the city’s skyline. The Tapasake pool sits atop The Link, a futuristic boulevard that defies gravity as the world’s longest cantilever, which is placed between One Za’abeel’s two towers. The Japanese meets Peruvian concept serves creative cuisine and cocktails. Tapasake has an adults-only policy, and visitors must be aged 21 years old and above. The pool is open from 10am to 9pm.

Visit the Sharjah Light Festival

Add some light to your life courtesy of the Sharjah Light Festival. Now in its 13th year, the gorgeous, gram-worthy festival is back. Taking place from 7 to 18 February, it casts the whole of Sharjah in a brand-new light, as it combines light displays, projections and music with dramatic results. This year’s Sharjah Light Festival brings together a lineup of local and international artists to craft 15 spectacular light shows, unfolding over 12 consecutive days at 12 key locations, including three new additions — the General Directorate of Sharjah Police, the General Souq – Al Hamriyah, and Kalba Waterfront.

Ras Al Khaimah Art will collaborate with Antica Australis to present a cultural heritage dining experience from Australia. Run by the husband-and-wife team, Paolo and Kelly Picarazzi, the lunch and dinner events will feature a four-course set menu by Paolo, accompanied by storytelling from Kelly between courses. Dishes include a pistachio risotto with fried local organic dates, an ‘ethereal’ tiramisu with pomegranate and Sidr jelly, and a medieval milk pudding made with camel milk infused with saffron. Dubai, a touch of chic has arrived in the city, courtesy of Café Kitsuné which has landed in H Residence in Al Wasl. Café Kitsuné boasts a minimalist design with a clean, contemporary aesthetic. Dubai is welcoming a brand-new music festival. The world-renowned UNTOLD will take place at Expo City Dubai. Scheduled for February 2024, UNTOLD Dubai will boast a stellar lineup of international live acts and DJs, including DJ Armin van Buuren, Bebe Rexha, Ellie Goulding, G-Eazy, Hardwell, Major Lazer, Sebastian Ingrosso and Tiësto. Watch world-famous musical The Phantom of the Opera

Emmy Award-winning comedian and writer Trevor Noah will bring his unique brand of humour to Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Arena on Wednesday, 28 February 2024. The South African-born entertainer has seen meteoric success, with his witty commentary resonating with audiences worldwide. Noah’s popularity has extended to sold-out stand-up comedy shows on five continents and hosting duties at the Grammy Awards in 2021 and 2022. He last performed in the UAE in October 2022 at Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai. Noah’s upcoming performance in the capital forms part of his Off The Record World Tour, which features a new comedic set showcasing Noah’s unique personal stories from a global perspective.

Witness the wonder of AP Dhillon

The upcoming concert at Coca-Cola Arena isn’t Dhillon’s first stint in Dubai. He graced the Expo 2020 stage in 2022, so expect an even bigger crowd this time around.
