Visit the Pitfire Pizza X Miss Lily’s collab

FACT loves a food collaboration. So, we were excited to hear that the FACT award winning restaurants Pitfire Pizza and Miss Lily’s are joining forces for a limited time. Pitfire Pizza’s Michele Johnson and Miss Lily’s Chef Richie Richards have worked together to create a Braised Oxtail Pizza (AED 75), a Jerk Chicken Pizza (AED 65) and a fiery Scotch Bonnet Brownie (AED 35). The cool creations will be available at Pitfire Pizza’s newly opened restaurant in Dubai Hills from 23 to 25 April from 5pm. We guarantee this will be one of the best things to do in Dubai this week!

Try the secret menu at Akira Back

In a groundbreaking culinary departure, Akira Back introduces a new nine-course menu. Orchestrated by Chef Giovanni Ledon and Akira Back, this ever-evolving secret menu uses the finest ingredients and is dictated by the seasons. Expect the freshest fish from the waters of Japan, succulent Wagyu beef from Australia’s verdant pastures, and lobster sourced from the Canadian coast. Available Tuesday to Friday, from 7pm to 11:30pm. AED 649 per person (nine-course menu) and AED 1,200 per person (nine-course menu with wine and sake pairing).

Participate in a theatrical dining experience

Paramount Hotel Dubai has reintroduced its theatrical dining experience at Flashback Speakeasy. Continuing the tradition of mystery musical dinner shows, “Femme Fatale” offers a brunch-style concept featuring a four-course tasting menu served alongside the performance. Each course reveals more of the mysterious narrative, captivating the audience with live music performances. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their finest film noir attire for an evening of sleuthing. Thursdays, from 8pm to 11pm. AED 299 (soft beverages), AED 399 (house beverages) and AED 550 (bubbly).

Visit Vinyl Souk

The 12th edition of Vinyl Souk at 25hours Hotel One Central brings together music fans, photography buffs, and cinema lovers to experience a curated marketplace celebrating analogue music, cinema and film photography. The event offers plenty of things to do and features Dubai’s inaugural vinyl record swap event in partnership with Swap For Good. Meanwhile, the Souk Sessions will host the UAE debut of Aroop Roy, a London-based DJ, producer, and musician known for his electronic and organic sounds. Elsewhere, Dubai-based indie electronic band WYWY will host a listening session for their debut album, “Whispers of Existence.” Friday 26 April, from 5pm. Entry is free.

Tuck into an Italian culinary collab

The FACT award winning Talea by Antonio Guida at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental has forged an exciting partnership with Dubai’s beloved Il Borro Tuscan Bistro. Here, guests can indulge in a six-course set menu showcasing luxurious ingredients such as lobster, caviar, oysters, and truffles alongside nostalgic and comforting dishes like handmade tortellini and white chocolate mousse. Saturday 27 April, from 6:30pm to 11pm. AED 650 per person (food only) or AED 1,300 (food and wine pairing).

Embrace your inner Lewis Hamilton at Chaos Karts

If driving down Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed Road gets you frustrated, give Chaos Karts a spin. This real-life Mario Kart experience in Al Quoz uses state-of-the-art technology and augmented reality, which recreates a video game experience. Drivers will ride around a projected track, and battle it out to become the winner. Competitors gain points by collecting jewels or using power-ups, which range from a laser gun to a speed boost.
