The Parisian concept will be making its Middle East debut soon.
The UAE is never short on new restaurant openings, but every now and then, something truly exciting lands on the radar. This time around, it’s Siena Paris Dubai, which is officially coming to the emirate.
Set to open soon in DIFC, Siena Paris will take up residence in one of Dubai’s most food-obsessed neighbourhoods, surrounded by the FACT award-winning GAIA, La Petite Maison and Zuma. The Parisian favourite is coming to Dubai courtesy of Rikas Hospitality Group, the firm behind some of the city’s most talked-about dining destinations, including the FACT award-winning Gigi Rigolatto, Mimi Kakushi and Ninive.
While full details of the Dubai outpost are still under wraps, the original Siena Paris gives us a pretty clear idea of what to expect. The Parisian concept features warm, exotic interiors with an atmosphere that feels like “being welcomed into an Italian home”.
In Paris, Siena unfolds through a series of spaces: an entrance, a living room, and a winter garden. There’s also an intimate dining area with a piano bar for live music and DJs. The new outpost of Siena Paris in Dubai could mimic the same vibe, with the addition of the speakeasy as well.
Food-wise, Siena offers refined Italian cuisine and takes you on a journey through Tuscany. Expect dishes rooted in Italian tradition, made with seasonal ingredients, and presented with the right balance of authenticity.
The menu is expansive and indulgent, covering everything from light antipasti to mains and desserts. Highlights include Vellutata di Zucca, Vitello Tonnato, Calamari Fritti, and Burrata al Tartufo. Pasta lovers will be spoiled with dishes like Pici Cacio e Pepe, Linguine all’Astice and Ravioli al Tartufo.
Dessert includes Tiramisu, Lemon Meringue Tart, Panna Xotta, Chocolate Fondant, a towering Siena Saint-Honore and even a La Dolce Vita dessert platter designed for sharing — or not.
When Siena Paris will officially open in Dubai is yet to be confirmed. But given the brand’s history, it’s safe to say this is one opening Dubai’s foodies will be watching closely.
