Confirmed: Kendrick Lamar at Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

The American rapper will be headlining Yasalam After-Race Concert Series.

The Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2022 is turning up the volume. We are buzzing with excitement, as Yasalam After-Race Concert Series has announced that American rapper Kendrick Lamar will be coming to the capital.  

Yasalam After-Race Concert Series is a four-day musical event, which sees concerts held across Formula 1 weekend at the Middle East’s largest outdoor venue, Etihad Park. The event will be taking place from 17 to 20 November, and Kendrick Lamar has been announced for Saturday, 19 November.

Kendrick Lamar is a Grammy Award-winning artist – notching up 14 awards, to be precise – and has sold more than 70 million records. The rapper hails from Compton, California, and recently got a nod from former President Barack Obama, as the rapper’s song Die Hard featured on Barack’s Summer Playlist.

We are expecting more announcements for Yasalam After-Race Concert Series in the coming months. Swedish House Mafia were the first global superstars to be announced, as the dance trio are headlining on 18 November. The house music supergroup are famous for their catchy songs ranging from Don’t You Worry Child to Save the World. 

Tickets to the Yasalam After-Race Concert Series are exclusively available for Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ticket holders. Golden Circle tickets are available for those seeking the best possible front row experience at Etihad Park.
