Westlife in Abu Dhabi tickets go on sale this Friday

The concert takes place on Thursday 29 September.

Westlife fans are one step closer to having their boyband dreams come true. The Irish group are bringing their world tour to Abu Dhabi and Riyadh. Live Nation, the event organisers, have announced that tickets for the Abu Dhabi concert will be going on sale this week.

Westlife tickets go on sale at 12pm on Friday, 5 August, starting from AED 199. Live Nation is also putting on a shuttle bus between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, as they hope to encourage concert goers to leave their cars at home.

It’s time to embrace your inner fangirl, as The Wild Dreams Tour will see the band perform some of their greatest hits in the Middle East. The concert in Riyadh will take place on Wednesday, 28 September, and the show in Abu Dhabi will take place the next day, on Thursday, 29 September.

Ever since the group started in 1998, they have notched up hit singles and legions of screaming fans. Over the years, they have won World Music Awards, BRIT Awards and MTV Awards. So, get ready to sing along to songs including Swear it Again, What Makes a Man and World of Our Own.

The legendary Irish boyband are now a foursome and includes the singers Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan and Nicky Byrne. The original line-up included Brian MacFadden, who quit back in 2004.

The group are no strangers to the Middle East – they performed in the UAE’s Coca-Cola Arena back in 2019, but this is the first time that they are coming to Saudi Arabia. Fans, you’ll be flying without wings.
